Stainless steel straight and flared leg sign brackets can be used with stainless banding for attachment to steel, concrete, aluminum, wood or fiberglass poles that are round or square. Type 201 and 300 series stainless steel provide good corrosion protection in the municipal environment. The PMB 101 Ratchet Tensioner or the PMB 001 Crank Tight Tensioner are used depending on the application and tension level required. Stainless steel buckles are used when the tension requirements are high. Stainless buckles are used with the heavier .030” thick banding. Wing clips / wing seals are used with .015” to .025” thick 300 series stainless banding for lighter duty applications. The higher tension Crank Tight PMB 001 is typically used with stainless buckles and the PMB 101 ratchet tensioner is used with wing clips / wing seals. Stainless steel banding offers a long service life and a strong secure, versatile, non toxic, flame resistant, uv resistant, temperature resistant and corrosion resistant method of securement.
