Bridge Construction , Mining,  Pipe & Cable Trenching / Burial

Bridge construction, wind farms, solar panel farms, and the cable / pipe burial / trenching industry use stainless steel banding for clamping, bundling, and securement. Stainless steel banding is used in bridge construction for suspension bridge cable bundling, general cable and pipe bundling, control box, camera , enclosure and bracket securement. In the sustainable energy field, stainless banding is used to secure cables, pipes, brackets and enclosures. The trenching / direct burial industry uses stainless banding to bundle cables and pipes together. The surface mining, mining oil shale recovery and large scale construction industries use stainless banding for hydraulic line securement, wire / cable bundling, pipe securement, air duct securement, bracket hanging and control box securement 

Type 201, 300 and 316 stainless are typically adequate in these industries.  Stainless  buckles, stainless wing clips / seals are used to secure the banding ends. The PMB101 Ratchet Tensioner and PMB 001 Crank Tite Tensioning tools are also used depending on the application and tension level required . Stainless buckles are used when the tension requirements are high with the heavy .030” thick banding and wing clips / wing seals are used with .015” to .025” thick, 300 series stainless banding.  The higher tension Crank Tite PMB 001 is typically used with stainless buckles and the PMB 101 is used with wing clips / wing seals. Stainless banding offers a long service life and a strong secure, versatile, non toxic, flame resistant, UV resistant, temperature resistant and corrosion resistant method of securement.
