Stainless banding provides a secure and versatile method to hold signals, cameras, tunnel cables, signs, control boxes and centenary arms in the bus and rail transportation industry. Straight leg and flared leg stainless brackets can be used with stainless banding for attachment to steel, concrete, aluminum, wood or fiberglass poles that are square or round.  

Type 201 and 300 series stainless banding is typically adequate in this environment. Stainless buckles and wing clips are used to secure the banding ends together. The PMB 101 Ratchet Tensionerand PMB 001 Crank Tight Tensioning tools are used, depending on the application and tension level required. Stainless buckles are used when the tension requirements are high. Stainless buckles are used with the heavy .030” thick banding and wing clips / wing seals are used with .015” to .025”, 300 series stainless banding. The higher tension PMB 001 Crank Tight tool  is typically used with stainless buckles and the PMB 101 Ratchet Tensioner is  used with wing clips / wing seals and .015" to .025" Stainless banding. Stainless steel  banding offers a long service life and a strong, secure, versatile, non toxic, flame resistant, UV resistant, temperature resistant and corrosion resistant method of securement.
