Stainless banding provides a versatile, durable and high strength method for hanging, clamping and repair applications. Stainless banding can also be used to mount security cameras, control boxes, motion sensors, enclosures and control boxes in plants, warehouses and outdoor storage yards. 317 stainless is widely used in the pulp and paper industry due to the corrosion resistance it has against chlorine in the bleaching process.  

Stainless alloys such as 201, 300 series, 316, 317, inconel and monel can be used depending on the level of corrosion in the environment. Stainless Steel or alloy buckles, wing clips and stainless seals are used to secure the banding ends. The PMB101 Ratchet Tensioner and PMB 001 Crank Tite Tensioning tools are also used depending on the application and tension level required.  Stainless buckles are used when the tension requirements are high. Stainless buckles are used with the heavy .030” thick banding and wing seals are typically used with .015” to .025” thick 300 series stainless banding.  The higher tension Crank Tite PMB 001 is typically used with stainless buckles and the PMB 101 is used with wing seals. Stainless banding offers a long service life and a strong secure, versatile, non toxic, flame resistant, uv resistant, temperature resistant and corrosion resistant method of securement.
